Higashi Village Azalea Festival
Higashi Village Azalea Festival is one of the most popular annual flower events in Okinawa, drawing some 60,000 visitors each year. The festival takes place at the Azalea Garden, located on the premises of Villagers’ Forest in Higashi Village. Higashi Village is located on the northeast coast of Okinawa, also known as Yanbaru. At the festival, visitors can enjoy a relaxing walk among the 50,000 azaleas in bloom in the tranquil, nature-rich setting of northern Okinawa. Saturday, March 16 will feature a live superhero show with Ryukyu Mabuya starting at 14:30.
