Music, art, fusion cuisine, live performances, dance… Audiences can experience all these and more at this free open-air festival, taking place in Shintoshin Park, Naha City.

The festival’s host is Osuman Orlando Bingle, a Ghanaian musician and event producer. He has lived in Japan since 1988 and held the very first Antaru Festival in Yoyogi Park, Tokyo, in 2007.

The first Antaru Festival in Okinawa took place in May 2013 following his move to the island. The event has been held twice a year since then; unfortunately, however, this will be the final edition to be held in Okinawa.

There will be global range of music, from African (including djembe) to samba, reggae and Okinawan rock as well as a flea market and delicious food available at the festival all day long.
