“A Mover El Esqueleto” Latin Night Event Recap

“How low, how low, how low can you go?” was the chant from everyone cheering for the contestants of the limbo contest at the first official Latin Night at Café & Bar Lounge The Brook. The night was entitled “A Mover El Esqueleto” which translates loosely as “strut your stuff.” The festivities that kicked off on the evening of September 13, 2014 were empowered by great complimentary shots and generous happy hour specials for all in attendance.

The host for the night, Pira, mingled and danced the night away along with guests. DJ Quevas’ style and expertise with the Latin genre spawned an amazing atmosphere of energy and dynamism. As each guest arrived at the venue, they were greeted in the foyer with a complimentary shot and positive vibes from all the staff members. The high energy event was melodiously packed with everything from Salsa and Merengue to Bachatta and Reggaeton, and more. Guests gleefully showed their preference and appreciation by remaining on the dance floor to take it all in.

The event was sponsored by Okinawa Nightlife, Slick Squad Entertainment, Oki After Dark and SFBOM Muzik with all photos and video produced by JSun Photography. The sponsors promise this is just the beginning and have already dedicated at least one Saturday night each month for the Latin theme for
everyone to enjoy and mingle. Take a look at the great photos that show how much fun was being had on this night and download your favorites to share with everyone.
